Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement made by Aker Carbon Capture ASA (Aker Carbon Capture or ACC) on 9 May 2025 regarding the agreement to sell ACC's 20 percent ownership interest in SLB Capturi to Aker ASA (the Transaction) and a proposed dividend payment of NOK 2.86 per share to ACC's shareholders, in aggregate approx. NOK 1.7 billion. The Transaction closed on 14 May 2025, and payment of the purchase price will be made to coincide with the distribution of dividend as described below.

Aker Carbon Capture AS: First quarter 2025 results
Aker Carbon Capture ASA (ACC ASA) ended the first quarter 2025 with NOK 1.9 billion in cash and an equity position at NOK 2.1 billion. The Company reported net profit of NOK 79 million in the quarter. This includes a gain of NOK 71 million from the earn-out mechanism in the transaction with SLB related to the award of the EPCIC contract from Hafslund Celsio.

This test campaign follows a successful pre-FEED performed for the same site. It will enable the full-scale implementation of multiple Just Catch 400 modular capture facilities with permanent storage, and the creation of carbon removal credits.

Aker Carbon Capture awarded feasibility study for e-fuel project in Finland
Aker Carbon Capture has been awarded an integration feasibility study for an e-fuel project in Finland. The company will investigate fully integrating one of its standardized and modularized Just Catch carbon capture units into the e-fuel process at a waste-to-energy facility. Aker Carbon Capture awarded study by TES to capture 400,000 tonnes CO2 per year in Germany
Aker Carbon Capture has been awarded a feasibility study by TES, to explore the implementation of a carbon capture plant at a waste-to-energy facility in Germany. The planned capture capacity will be 400,000 tonnes CO2 per year. The captured CO2 will be transported by railcar to the TES facilities at Wilhelmshaven in Northern Germany to produce e-NG, which is electric natural gas derived from green hydrogen and CO2. TES H2 is a global green energy company leading the way in the production of e-NG.
